Overal Magazine is a medium reflecting fashion as a complex social phenomenon. It features authors, fashion designers and creators who think beyond the basic framework of function and form, and reveals the broader context in which fashion meets activism, fine arts or social sciences. It is a relaxed space where fashion is considered in a broader socio-cultural context. Reflecting on aspects and tendencies of contemporary independent fashion design, the focus is on their theoretical contexts and projects that emerge from subcultures and enter the mainstream. Clothing should not only be seen as a commodity but can be perceived as information or a message about our society. The aim is to present clothing as an output of a spectrum of opinions. The interviews, author's texts, and anthologies are intended for a Czech audience and are in the Czech language.

I would like to thank everyone who contributed to the creation of Overal Magazine.
